| The new Fiberbatch blender from TSM Control Systems, Ireland provides gravimetric blending at a rate of 15 to 400 kg/hr. The Fibrebatch blender is geared towards synthetic spun yarn manufacturers, and with its new “auto clean-out” function that cannot be achieved by competitors offerings, accurate blend ratios and batch homogeneity are guaranteed. |
The patented Micradose ™ dispense valves ensure accurate dosing of minor ingredients even at very low throughputs. The ‘Micradose’ is capable of dispensing individual granules at a time allowing batch-to-batch accuracy of 0.1% or better.
TSM’s auto air valves clean all pellets from the entire mixing chamber interior using our uniquely designed 3-step process (for more information on how this process is achieved, please call TSM Control Systems). With the auto-cleaning feature it is possible to change from one colour to another without any cross examination. The blender is no longer the limiting factor, instead, the purge time of the extruder (or injection unit) determines the time required for colour change.
Other features and benefits of this new system consist of easily removable hoppers, a compact size and design, up to 4 component materials, no ‘double-dosing’ of additives when using regrind, remote console, serial output and web server, material usage and inventory report facilities and self optimising software.
